Hello everybody! Welcome to my site!  I Just wanted to give you a little background on the history of the how and why I became a DJ.  Everything started with breakdancing really. I watched the movie Breakin’ in 84 and took up that hobby for a few years, Which is how I got my nickname: Mr. Freeze. My nickname has morphed over time and I now go by MXR Freeze.  

My first actual “gig” was at my high school dance in 85. I used the drama departments audio equipment, which included 2 tape decks and a mixer. I played my prerecorded music from Casey Kasem’s American Top 40 on the radio. I would wait for the good songs and hit record and bam I had the music I needed.

A lot has changed since those days, equipment AND technology.  I have tried to keep up and have done ok, but I still like to keep my old school habits. I still use records from time to time, although the technology is different, I use turntables as well to play music through my laptop.  It’s much easier carrying a little laptop up and down stairs than crates of records! 

I enjoy all varieties of music and would be happy to provide my experience for your enjoyment. I play anything from dance party to country and all in between. I can also throw some of my free style mixes in for your entertainment! I am qualified and have vast experience for all types of events; weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, or just to have a party!  My rates are $375. For 3 hours and $75. extra for each hr over that.
